Itinerary
Upon arrival at Bosaso Airport, meet and greet followed by transfer to your hotel for check-in and refreshment. Begin the tour with a visit to Bosaso Beach, then continue to Bosaso Port and the local fish market to experience the city’s coastal lifestyle and daily activities.
Proceed with a city tour of Bosaso, including local markets and key landmarks, followed by lunch at a local restaurant. In the afternoon, visit Biyo Kulule (hot springs) for a short excursion, then return to Bosaso Beach for sunset. End the day with transfer back to your hotel.
After breakfast, depart Bosaso for an overland transfer to Eyl, traveling through the scenic landscapes of Puntland. En route, stop at Qardho City, the historic headquarters of the Majeerteen Sultanate, for a short visit and lunch at a local restaurant, combined with a cultural experience.
Continue the journey towards Eyl, enjoying views of the Nugaal region along the way. Upon arrival, transfer to Eyl Resort for check-in and relaxation. In the evening, enjoy a fresh seafood dinner, followed by a short briefing from your guide on the next day’s program. The day concludes with live qaaci music around a bonfire beneath Eyl Mountain, offering a warm and memorable cultural experience. Overnight in Eyl.
Begin with an early morning wake-up and a guided hike to Eyl Mountain for sunrise at the Italian Lighthouse Fort, offering panoramic coastal views. Descend after the visit and return to the resort for breakfast. Comfortable walking or hiking shoes are recommended.
Continue with a guided sightseeing tour of Eyl, including Daarta Sayidka Fort, the stone chair of Sayid Mohamed Abdulle Hassan, Eyl Garden, and the open-air art site. Proceed to Eyl Lagoon for scenic views, followed by time at Eyl Beach for relaxation, swimming, or an optional boat ride.
Depart after check-out for an overland transfer to Garowe. En route, stop at Salaam Village for a short cultural visit and refreshments. Arrive in Garowe in the evening and transfer to Martisoor Hotel (or similar) for overnight stay.
After breakfast, transfer to the airport to catch your Ethiopian Airlines flight.
