Itinerary
Upon arrival at Aden Adde International Airport, receive immigration assistance and transfer to your hotel. Enjoy lunch at the hotel or outside restauarent , followed by a detailed tour briefing.
In the afternoon, drive along Makka Almukarama Road, one of Mogadishu’s main commercial streets, and see the Arco Trionfo di Popolape, as well as the statue of Ahmed Gurey, the freedom hero. Head to Lido Beach for a relaxing boat ride along the Indian Ocean. Then visit Mogadishu Mall, one of the largest malls in Hamarweyn, and explore its various shops. Afterward, relax at a rooftop café with panoramic views of Mogadishu Cathedral, the historic Arch of Umberto I, and Arba’a Rukun Mosque in the medieval Shangani District. Stop at the Monument of the Unknown Soldier (Daljirka Dahsoon) and pass by Peace Park.
In the evening, take a walking tour to Ali Jimcale Mosque, an impressive Turkish-style mosque, and enjoy a relaxed evening at Feynuus Bowling with a game of bowling. Finally, return to your hotel for an overnight stay in Mogadishu.
After breakfast at 9:00 AM, start the day at theVisit the Mogadishu Fish Market, one of the city’s most fascinating and bustling spots, where you can experience vibrant coastal trade and authentic local life.Then, Visit the Italian Lighthouse and ruins of Othman Castle in Mogadishu, a must-see site with ocean views where boats unload fish and sharks as fishermen carry giant catches on their shoulders. Walk through the Hamarweyne Old Neighborhood to feel the local atmosphere, and stop to shop for souvenirs.
Drive through Shanghai Old City and stop at the Former U.S. Embassy, where bullet holes—resembling Swiss cheese—remain visible, reflecting the impact of the 1991 Civil War in Somalia
Visit Somalia National Theatre to enjoy an amazing folklore performance featuring traditional dance and fire-licking acts . Stop at the Hawo Tako Statue to honor the female freedom fighter.
Drive through Bakara Market (Black Hawk Down crash site area) for historical context only—no wreckage or visible remains of the helicopter. No walking; tourist movement is strictly restricted.
⚠️ Note: Traffic to Bakara Market can be extremely heavy—delays of several hours are possible and may disrupt the rest of the tour program. This is included as an optional add-on, not a must-see.

Visit a camel dairy site on the edge of the city, where fresh milk is distributed and sold to locals, offering a unique chance to taste camel milk and experience Somalia’s rich pastoral traditions.
In the afternoon, you can go to Jazeera Salty Lake to see flamingos, then relax at Abaydhaxan Beach Resort with Somali tea, popcorn with dates, and a shoreline walk. End the day at Nimow Sand Dune before returning to your hotel in Mogadishu for an overnight stay.
